Welcome to D&D Removals. By using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use our services. These terms and conditions govern the use of all removal services provided by D&D Removals. We offer professional removal, packing, and transport services, arranging for the collection, transport, and delivery of items as specified in our agreement or quote. Booking & payment: straightforward and secure

To book our services, clients must provide a clear description of the items to be moved, along with precise pickup and delivery locations. A confirmed booking will be issued once the service details are agreed upon. Payment must be made either before or on the day of the move, unless alternative arrangements have been formally agreed. We accept various convenient payment methods, including bank transfer, credit card, and cash. Please note, if payment is not received in a timely manner, we reserve the right to cancel the scheduled move.

Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule your move, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation charge.

Working together for a smooth move

We are committed to taking reasonable care to ensure the safe handling and transport of your belongings. However, we cannot be held liable for damages resulting from factors outside our direct control, such as severe weather conditions or items inadequately packed by the customer. While we provide a basic level of insurance for goods during transport, additional insurance may be necessary for high-value or particularly fragile items. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure their valuable items are appropriately insured.

Customer responsibilities:

  • Packing: Please ensure all items are packed securely and are suitable for transport.
  • Access: It is crucial to ensure clear and unobstructed access to both loading and unloading areas. Delays caused by poor access may incur additional charges.
  • Heavy items: Inform us in advance of any particularly heavy or oversized items that might require specialised equipment or additional staff.
  • Keep in contact: Maintaining open communication with us is key to a smooth and efficient moving process.

Protecting your interests & resolving concerns

D&D Removals takes all reasonable precautions to protect your belongings, but we will not be liable for any damage or loss caused by natural disasters, unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, improperly packed items, items not disclosed at the time of booking, or any property damage due to insufficient access or unsafe conditions at pickup or drop-off. For valuable or fragile items, we strongly recommend obtaining separate insurance coverage.

Force majeure: D&D Removals will not be held liable for delays or failure to perform our services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.
